SekurPay™-GPS for Vehicle Loan Financers

SekurPay™-GPS can change its behavior based on special numeric instructions, called “Change Mode commands can be used to alter the following:
SekurPay™-GPS is the most economical and powerful Payment Protection Solution and stand-alone mobile tracking device available today using telematics technology.
Telematics is the blending of computers and wireless telecommunications technologies, ostensibly with the goal of efficiently conveying information over vast networks to improve a host of business functions. Utilizing GSM / GPRS, TCP, UDP IP and CSD communication together with GPS technology
SekurPay™-GPS provides comprehensive payment protection and asset security facilities to the loan financer.
The SekurPay™-GPS units are installed into loaned vehicles for the term of the loan period. Our product offers a flexible Payment Protection Solution to Finance Institutions that allows payments to be scheduled for any day or allows changes to payments. The solution allows the loan financer to locate and recover the vehicle in the event of delinquency and theft thus ensuring that asset security is maintained.

The SekurPay™-GPS system will inform the customer that they are in good standing or whether they need to make a payment. If the customer is current with their payments the user will receive an audio visual alert confirming that their payments are up to date. When a payment is due a reminder will alert the customer that a payment is due with in three days in which he will be reminded that a payment must be made.

| Payments can be scheduled for any day, or can allow payment changes without re-programming the device. SekurPay™-GPS allows changes, for example, from weekly to monthly and back again. Allows payment changes from, for example, Fridays to Mondays. SekurPay™-GPS allows the skipping of a payment and adding one later. |
| Any missed payment does not need to be sent to the SekurPay™-GPS device. SekurPay™-GPS accepts triggered payment codes for up to 31 days ahead. |
| SekurPay™-GPS proactively reminds the customer that payment is due prior to the payment due date being reached. The reminder period is a configurable item set at the organisation’s discretion. |
| The Emergency code allowance is triggered by the customer via the panic button. A command is sent to the control centre application and an emergency code is released and returned to the device automatically. The organisation may reduce the number of Grace Days to compensate if they suspect abuse. The device includes an internal GSM/GPRS modem, proving both TCP/IP and UDP/IP, CSD and SMS communication between the device and the control centre application. Where GPRS coverage is unavailable any emergency events are shifted to SMS and the rest is logged. |
| SekurPay™-GPS devices are programmed at the factory and NOT by a local pc. This is essential to allow remote payment flexibility, for example, if the local pc clock or date was wrong then the codes would lose their synchronization. SekurPay™-GPS understands Time Zone settings so that users from all over the world can set a Shutoff Time of 11.59 pm and remain locally accurate. |
| SekurPay™-GPS The solution allows the organisation to automatically send the parameter triggers to SekurPay™-GPS device therefore provides the benefit of a wireless management process that eliminates customer intervention. |
| SekurPay™-GPS is configurable in terms of locating the vehicle when it has been disabled. This feature is organisation driven and may be set to automatically advise the SekurPay™-GPS application or may be set to be passive. Such triggers are returned to the application to notify the location of the vehicle if recovery is required. |
| SekurPay™-GPS parameters can also configure/setup. OTA configuration data is sent with UDP-API header. In case the GPRS network is not available the commands can be sent by SMS. |
| SekurPay™-GPS offers Date Terminal and hands free compatibility. The solution is capable of forwarding data to the application or mobile phone and vice versa. This allows the organization and customer to communicate using a PDA or data terminal such as the MDT. |
SekurPay™-GPS allows the vehicle to be disabled or enabled automatically and/or remotely via the application. This allows the organisation to remain in control of their asset and also protects the customer in case of vehicle theft. The solution performs a Gradual Motor Arrest that allows the organization to send a command to gradually decelerate the vehicle until it comes to a full stop.
The device is small in size and allows it to be installed deep inside the interior of the vehicle thus avoiding detection and tampering. |
| A 12 channel GPS sensor is integrated with the antenna for improved reception sensitivity ensuring efficient and accurate vehicle location. The GPS sensor is connected to the device via a serial port ensuring covert installation. |
| The device is capable of forwarding data from its serial port to the remote application or mobile phone and vice versa. This allows messaging between the organisation and the driver using a PDA or a data terminal such as the MDT. |
| |
| A payment trigger exists for every payment that is due. The vehicle loan financer using the SekurPay™-GPS Payment Protection Solution releases a new trigger if a payment has not been made. |
| The trigger is received by SekurPay™-GPS and the vehicle is disabled. Before any payment due date is reached the solution reminds the customer that the payment is due and if payment is not received within X number of days the vehicle will be disabled. If the vehicle is disabled then SekurPay™-GPS provides the facility to locate the whereabouts of the vehicle where recovery is required |
